Halloween pinwheel decorations: for these fun halloween decorations you just need some paper, scissors, glue and some cotton or string.  Start with a long rectangle of paper and concertina it by folding around 5mm strip one way then flipping the paper over and making a 5mm fold, then flip and fold until you get to the end of your paper. Slime: this one is less crafty and more messy!  We put around 150g of corn flour into a bowl, and mixed food colouring into about half a cup of water. We then added this coloured water slowly until all the flour was wet and it changed consistency into a weird sticky, slimy mixture. The whole point of this activity is to get your hands in - to mix it all together well and experience the odd textures.
