How can I get in touch?

If you would like to get in touch, ask a question or send us a fabulous photo we'd love to hear from you. You can email us at: hello@strangesnail.com or fill in the form on the Contact Us page.

Where do you ship?

You can receive your Strange Snail box anywhere in the UK with a postal address, however we are not able to deliver to a PO Box. We send parcels across the UK via Royal Mail so you can ask for your box to be delivered to your home or work address. For countries outside the UK, please contact us and we will let you know the additional postage costs. 

What are the options for buying a box?

You can either sign up for a 3, 6 or 12 month subscription, where you will receive a constant supply of new discovery boxes each month, or you can buy a one-off box. Have a look at our collection.

What can I expect to find in a box?

Each month we will explore a different topic, so the contents will vary but you can expect to find:

  • Different craft activities, one of which transforms the box itself 
  • Fully illustrated instruction booklets with fascinating facts
  • All the craft materials you need, you might need your own scissors or pencil
  • Supporting information and details on how the activities can be linked to the Key Stage 1 Curriculum

How do I place an order?

Ordering a Strange Snail box is easy:

  1. Have a browse around our shop, find the option that suits you best and pop it in your cart.
  2. Follow the instructions and fill out your address and payment details. We will then send you a confirmation email once your order has been processed.
  3. Wait for your Strange Snail box to arrive and for the fun to start.

 How do I pay?

You can pay either by card or using Paypal.

When is payment taken?

We take payment for your order at the time of receiving and confirming your order.

How is my box delivered?

As our boxes are full of exciting crafty materials they are too big to go through a standard letter box. The boxes will be delivered using Royal Mail and can be delivered to an address of your choice.

When will I receive my box?

Our monthly boxes are all shipped out together in the first week of each month. One-off boxes are normally dispatched within 5 working days, but please allow 10 days for delivery.

What can I do if I forget my password?

Not to worry, we’ll send you a new one. Just click on 'forgot password' on the log in page and you will be emailed a set of instructions. If you don’t receive the email, then contact us and we’ll help you out.

What can I do if some of the items are missing?

Oops sorry! Our boxes are all carefully packed by hand but if something has gone astray, please contact us to let us know what is missing and we will sort out the problem as soon as we can.

Can I leave feedback?

Yes, we would love to hear from you. We are always grateful to receive any feedback as this helps us to continually improve our boxes. If you have indicated that you are happy to be contacted by us, occasionally a survey from us might pop up in your inbox and you can complete this. Alternatively you could email us – we would be delighted to hear from you.
